Coaching Hypnosis Classes
Hypnosis is one tool I use to help people change. It is a powerful tool as it's something I can teach you to use for yourself. Hypnosis accesses your subconscious mind, the seat of your belief system. Our conscious mind, on the other hand, is often a continual flow of information. Cutting through the busy-ness of the conscious mind can allow many people to make significant changes in their lives. Changes like stopping smoking, losing the fear of flying, losing weight, or how to maximize performance in sports.
Hypnosis is nothing new.
Hypnosis, is some form or another, has been used for more than 200 years. It began gaining credibility as a medical tool in the early decades of the last century as psychiatry and psychoanalysis began to show how the unconscious mind often rules daily life. Its usefulness was cemented when combat physicians reported using it during World War II for the wounded.
Unfortunately, many people get their introduction to hypnosis through television or a night club act. Hypnosis for entertainment and hypnosis for therapy are two very different things.
I don't view hypnosis as THE one thing that will elicit change. It is one of many techniques you can enlist to work your way towards wellness.
